touch screen not working. analog clock not working but digital time screen showing real time but is blinking

the touch screen seems to be dead. the analog watch is not working but digital clock is showing the time albeit in blinking mode. Initially i thought that the battery was down. even got the battery replaced but the problem persists. also the back light is not working...
